Single sign-on (SSO): Find your public certificate

Your X.509 certificate is what allows users signing in through a third-party identity provider to be authenticated by Mixpanel without supplying a username and password. Each identity provider account has a unique X.509 certificate that will need to be uploaded to Mixpanel during the single sign-on setup process.

Find your X.509 certificate on:

Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)

  1. On the Mixpanel application integration page, click Configure single sign-on > Microsoft Azure AD Single Sign-On.
  2. Click next until you see the Configure Single Sign-On at Mixpanel dialog page.
  3. There, click Download certificate link to download the X.509 certificate.

Okta

  1. Under Applications tab in Okta, select the Mixpanel app and click on the Sign On tab.
  2. Under the SAML 2.0 section, click View Setup Instructions, and scroll down to Configuration Data.
  3. Click Download certificate in the second entry to download your certificate.

OneLogin

  1. Select Company Apps from the Apps dropdown in OneLogin, click on the Mixpanel App, and select the Single Sign-On tab.
  2. At the bottom of the page, you will find a link to download your certificate.
